چکیده

Barasi (2003) refers to nutrition as ‘the study of foods and nutrients vital to health and how the body uses these to promote and support growth, maintenance and reproduction of cells.’ A second definition from Barasi (2003) sees nutrition as the study of the relationship between food and people, offering a more personcentred approach. In this article, both definitions will be used while considering the role of nutrition in patients with venous leg ulcers.
